Why this Lean IT Foundation training?
This Lean IT Foundation course is a 2-days, interactive learning experience. The course can be offered in both classroom or in a virtual setting. During the training, you will learn the fundamentals of Lean and how to apply Lean in an IT domain. In the training you will practice with exercises to build hands-on skills. The training will introduce you to the softer aspects of Lean IT like change approaches and how to change people’s behavior and attitude. All the exercises are related to IT, but no technical IT knowledge is required. This course is delivered using an exciting case study designed to further enhance the candidates understanding of Lean for IT. Students who have attended this course are prepared to successfully take the associated LITA certification exam which is a requirement for attending any of the further Lean courses available in this track.

Lean IT Foundation Certification
This course prepares you for the exam leading to the Lean IT Foundation Certificate. The purpose of the Lean IT Foundation certificate is to certify that you have gained knowledge of the Lean terminology, structure and basic concepts and has comprehended the core principles of Lean practices. This training and the Lean IT Foundation certificate are mandatory for additional Lean IT training, including the Lean IT Kaizen, Lean IT Leadership and Lean IT Coach courses.

This lean certification is developed by the Lean IT Association (LITA). LITA is a non-profit organization and aims to provide a certification scheme aimed at practitioner organizations looking to adopt Lean IT principles in the IT Service development and operations department as well as professionals that want to be certified in Lean IT on various levels.
